I am submitting this to Chapman only, because this is easily correctable. When checking in or dropping the car off, the service attendant was not attentive even though it seemed he was not doing any business. I had to wait about 5 minutes before he left the booth and greeted me for service. Otherwise, the service experience was very good.

I currently live in the Bay Area of Northern California, after recently being in a car accident that left my 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport totaled. I was researching for a new replacement vehicle, I stumbled upon a 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT N-Line for sale at Chapman Hyundai. From the first call with Sandy & James I received excellent communication and transparency. This was my first time buying a car out of state and James took initiative in reassuring any uncertainties I may have. After settling on a deal via email, I flew in on a red eye flight, was offered to be driven to the dealership. Aside from waiting for paperwork to be finalized, I was in and out the dealership within a few hours happy in my new car. I can say for certain this was THE most positive experience I've ever had at a dealership. Everybody was incredibly warm and courteous. Additionally, they were very communicative in informing me of things to do in Phoenix (and to not honk at people also) I'd highly recommend Chapman if you're looking for a Hyundai!

The service was what needed to be done for the first service of a new vehicle. Nothing more. The service attendant did not tell me if they addressed the issue I wanted looked at. He also did not tell me when the next service should be or what it would require.

Chapman Review I’ve bought several new cars over my nearly 75 years driving, but never sight unseen. I’ve also met several salesmen who were more interested in selling the car than trying to satisfy my needs. That all changed when I met, over the phone and internet, the most competent salesman I’ve encountered. Timothy SALINAS is the exception. From the outset of our conversation he listened intently, understood and explained how he could research and do his best to fulfill my goals. I explained I was on travel and could not deal face-to-face until I returned. He assured me that we could, through the phone and internet, continue our negotiations seamlessly. He provided photographs and descriptions of the various features of the vehicles he had located. We finally changed the color from silver to white and the interior from cloth to leather. He located a choice which featured the speed control I wanted—and the sunroof. I know he spent several tireless hours researching his sources. This was my first visit service visit since I purchased this vehicle. Making the appointment was easy. The length of time it would take to address the warranty issues came at a surprise -- it would take many hours --. Don't know how many service advisors you have, mine was Joe Bartizal. He explained what needed to be done in detail. Our interaction was relaxed and non-hurried and I came away with the thought that this guy really cares and likes to help a customer. Best yet, I got a ride home and back again.

This was by far the best experience. Jonathan went above and beyond for me. I had a bad experience with Honda and I vented and he listened patiently. I told him I did not want to waste my time or his. Advised what vehicle I was interested in and what my payment needed to be and how much down I would do. Thank God for Joe and his crew. I had problems with my 2019 Sonata and went to Chapman's Service on Bell and 7th Ave. Joe listened advised me that the problem was covered under warranty and even got me a ride home!! He said that it might not be repaired until Wednesday, but to my surprise I received a call on Friday saying that the job was completed. Way to go Joe!! I had to drop off my vehicle for a recall item. I made the appointment at 3 o’clock and when I got there, they took it right back to their mechanics and do the work right away. I was told it would take probably an hour to an hour and a half and that’s exactly what it was and not only that they completed the work but they also washed my car. I was very pleased. You don’t find people being on time too often anymore. Thanks to Jaimie my service technician she was a big help in making sure this process went smoothly.

Palisade SUV had developed a clunking sound from the rear after 39,000 miles, heard when on rough roads at slow speed. Was told it might take a couple of days to get parts depending on what they found. Tech Matt Starr replaced insulator kits on both sides which helped but a test drive showed there was another issue. Problem was traced to a bad shock. All work was completed in one day which minimized the inconvenience of being without my vehicle. The noise is completely gone. Great job by Joe Bartizal in quickly getting parts from another dealership and the skill of Matt Starr in correctly finding all the noise sources and quickly making the necessary repairs. I am thrilled with the service that was provided!

Jose Quintero helped me a lot to make a purchase with zero stress, that was very important to me because I was willing to buy a used car just to avoid negotiations at the dealership. He helped me do it by phone and we talked just to confirm the time and date of payment. I really recommend dealing with him. I bought a new Hyundai Elantra 2023, of course, they offered me other products, guarantees, etc., but I did not accept and they did not insist, which I appreciate (I do not think they are a bad option) but they were out of my budget. In short, I am satisfied with my purchase

Our service advisor was wonderful - polite, professional, thorough. The experience was hampered by (1) a much too lengthy waiting period (there were no vehicles in the service line when we arrived) and (2) and the lack of car washing. (That has been the case since we purchased our car from you 3 years ago. You could arrange to provide vouchers to another carwash.)

Over the last 2 years since I bought my car I have been treated with complete kinds, respect and patience. The one time they made a mistake not Tightening something down and there was a problem- I called and there was no “please wait” the person told excellent what to do and when me and my car got there a entire staff of mechanics came running out of the garage and took care of the problem so fast I didn’t even have time for cup of coffee and the Rep was so apologetic it was so ridiculous and almost embarrassing. This is the best place to get your worked on or buy one I really feel like they gave me a fare deal we did haggle back and forth a little bit but even with that and this being my first to time buying a car on my own they still answered questions I had asked before without undertoning rudness. I still take my car it get the oil changed and so on. Just one more example I had a light come on my dash and didn’t know what it was. I called and got an answer right away and was asked if there was anything else that concerned me. I love love love this place
