Chapman did a great job on servicing my SUV. There was a recall issue that they addressed and also flushed my air conditioning for the summer season. It was done in a timely manner and they kept me advised throughout the day where the service stood.
Second visit in month of May for service. 5/15 service was done quickly but then service noticed my brake light was out. The looked into it and did not need to do any work on it. Two days ago another driver following me told me my left brake light was out. I need to bring the car in again for diligent service on this issue.

This service department is excellent, your service representative went out of her way to make everything go smoothly, expected to be there much longer, my appointment was at 7:00 am, she arrived early, opened the waiting room, checked me in and had my Santa Cruz in the bay and a technician working on it a little before 7:00, was out of there at 9:15, both recall items were taken care of and they washed the car, was expected to be there much longer. I went in unsure if I wanted to trade in my old car but the staff there were very nice and considerate we went for a test drive in the new 2023 Hyundai Elantra limited and I fell in love with the car and they were really up front and honest with me on every bit of detail they had when working out the financial number the person that helped me was Rafael and he was very nice and didn’t pressure me into buying any car I didn’t like he wanted me to get a car I felt comfortable in and understood my situation very well and couldn’t ask for a better sales person to help me on my experience that day

Joe completed my oil change on time and he set up a ride to work for me.
The people there were excellent. 2 issues one received email saying it was time to bring in my vehicle. Found out that service is at 8000 miles, I had 3200. So a wasted trip IMO. Also tires rotated but once home my instrument panel said left front was 4psi less than the other tires. This seems unprofessional.

I had a period of misfortunes and bad luck and it resulted in a repossession of my vehicle. I have been trying to get into another vehicle but had been turned down so many other places. I reached a point where I thought getting into another decent car was impossible and that I’d be taking Ubers for the rest of my life. I was browsing cars on the internet and then through the magic of the web, I received a call from a salesman at Chapman Hyundai. I ignored it but he was persistent. I finally answered and he introduced himself as JJ. We talked for a bit about my situation and I didn’t feel judged or dismissed by him like I did By other salesman at other dealerships. JJ was kind and patient and he spoke with me about my credit situation with a genuine quality. He shared somethings about his less than perfect credit and we discovered that we had somethings in common. Without making any promises, he showed up at my house the next day and took me down to Chapman Hyundai used cars on Bell road. We went through my credit in detail and I didn’t feel judged for my credit worthiness caused by my mistakes of the past. He showed me some potential scenarios of me owning a car again. The finance team were magicians and together they did what I thought was the impossible. They got me into a very nice quality used car. The finance terms weren’t ideal but it was because of my life’s circumstances and poor financial choices of the past that created the challenges of getting financed. They figured out how to work around it and found a bank that would work with me. Those guys at Chapman used cars are a great team and they can make the impossible happen. They got me financed when no one else would even give me the time of day. They treated me with respect and I didn’t feel that humiliation I usually felt by being judged by other dealerships who wouldn’t see past my credit score. They worked hard for me and they did so in away that made me feel like a human and not a number. They were professional and patient. Their nonjudgmental and genuine approach went well above the standard practices of car sales and I left feeling respected and worthy as a person. Seriously, I know that sounds corny but I never feel more vulnerable or exposed than during the experience of car buying. I usually leave feeling embarrassed and worthless. I left Chapman feeling valuable. Thanks JJ and Chapman for helping me accomplish that today. I really needed that success.
Went above and beyond in servicing my car.
About a week ago I had a issue with my car. They had fixed it yesterday. I went to go pick up my car. I didn’t like the fact I had to wait a week but Jamie who helped me out she gave me a update as soon as possible, which is great. my issue is is that returning home yesterday after I got the car I realize that they are dirty or oil stains all over my backseat of my car all over the top of my backseats, someone’s fingerprint stains. I will be contacting the manager shortly. I don’t think they did a proper inspection of the car to release the car to me in that condition.
It was a quick and easy process. They were friendly and helpful I would refer anyone there.

Even though my credit score was not all that, I was treated with the utmost respect and I was approved for the vehicle that I wanted. There was no pressure to get me to buy something that they thought would work better or anything. I had a great experience with Chapman's employees, from sales person to financing. They were honest about numbers and never tried overselling. It was one of the few places where I paid MSRP for the vehicle and not asked for a "market adjusted value".
